This intensive 2 day beginners facial training course covers basic facial anatomy, skin structure, facial skills, skincare knowledge, product knowledge and techniques. Demonstrations and in-depth knowledge are provided by tutors using various techniques and products, students then have hands on experience working on the face, neck, shoulders. The emphasis is combining, relaxation, product knowledge, skin analysis, client care and customer service.

Entry Requirement: Suitable for beginners. Students must be 18 or over.

Equipment: All products and equipment will be provided for use during training. Facial training kits can also be purchased for you to use and train at home.

Teaching methods

Tuition covers the basics of the structure of the skin (including layers of the skin), facial anatomy, contra indications, consultations, aftercare, massage techniques, customer care and service and product knowledge via practical demonstrations. Students will then work with each other to practice techniques learnt until we feel they are capable enough to work on clients and have exhibited sufficient knowledge and practical ability, via question and answers and a multiple choice question paper.

This professional manicure and pedicure course is for beginners wishing to learn fundamental manicure and pedicure treatments and is essential learning in nail services.

Waxing is considered one of the most popular and commercially profitable beauty treatments. The emphasis is placed on acquiring practical competence in the warm waxing or hot warm waxing techniques combined with theoretical knowledge.

What do I need to know before I start the course?

Suitable for beginners. Students must be 18+. Underarm, full leg and bikini hair must be grown (at least 2 weeks growth). Avoid all heat treatments (including hot baths) directly before attending the course. Please note - if this has not been done, we reserve the right to transfer customers on to a later course date. We recommend that you bring your own lunch.

Will I need to bring any materials?

All materials will be provided to use on the day of the course. All students will receive a manual for training, reference and learning. 

Is the course accredited?

Certificate of attendance will be awarded to successful students who achieve the required level of proficiency.
