We have Implemented the following Changes In Order With The Government & Professional Beauty Guidelines To protect ourselves, staff , residents and our valued clients from this virus and endeavour to make the salon environment & treatments as safe as we can, so you can have peace of mind whilst enjoying your treatments.
* On Entering The Building Entrance Clients Must Sanitise Their
Hands, Wear A Clean Mask, Sign In & Then Wash Their Hands
* Karismha Staff Have All Updated Their Barbicide Covid-19
Certification Training For Proper Sanitisation & Disinfection
Practices For The Professional Beauty Industry as of June 2020

* As Per Government Guidelines Karismha Salon Has Re Done A
Covid Risk Assessment in order to operate safely & reduce
infection, Covid Secure Certificate is Displayed in The Salon
* Covid-19 Salon Guidelines are displayed on our website, In The
Salon, Social Media & will be sent at the time of Booking For
Clients to Adhere to
* Karismha Staff will be wearing PPE, Face Masks, Visors, Gloves
during treatments
* Karismha Staff Have been Informed, updated and trained to
implement extra cleaning & hygiene tasks after every client, to
wear and provide PPE to clients
* Sneeze Guards On The Salon Reception Desk & Manicure Desk
have been Provided to form a barrier between staff and clients,
protecting staff and clients from infection at The Harrow Salon in
2020
* Social Distancing Tape Guidelines On the Floor & On the Door Entry
* Hand Sanitisers at Prominent Points
* Posters Informing Clients of Hygiene Rules They Must Follow Whilst

Option is also available in the Salon for any retail purchases
* Thermometer Checks On Arrival
* IMPORTANT COVID CONSULTATION FORMS VIA EMAIL AT TIME OF
BOOKING - IF YOU DO NOT FILL IN, SIGN & RETURN THE FORM
VIA EMAIL PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT YOU WILL NOT BE
GIVEN A TREATMENT!
* Through Hygiene Disinfection of Work Space, Chairs, Equipment
& Tools After Every Client
* A Face Mask Is Mandatory For ALL OUR CLIENTS to wear when
they arrive at the salon, or clients will be given one. NO MASK
NO TREATMENT. For Certain Facial Treatments You will be
required to remove your masks for the treatment and then re
apply mask.
* Fewer Clients in at a time
* Extra Time In Between Appointments For Extra Hygiene &
Cleaning
* Some Treatments or parts of, may be adapted, restricted or
temporarily unavailable.
* Due to being located a Luxury Care Home (on a different floor) we have to abide by certain regulations before you can enter the building for safety of all.
In order for us to provide you the safest and most hygienic treatments in the salon environment we have implemented the above changes which will be "The New Normal".

CLIENT REQUIRMENTS FOR SALON TREATMENTS DURING C19
* Book Treatments & Pay Online In Advance
(certain Treatments may not be available please call to find out first)
* You will be emailed A Covid-19 Consultation Form Prior to your appointment. THIS IS MANDATORY & MUST BE FILLED, SIGNED & RETURNED VIA EMAIL TO US APPROX 24HRS BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT. NO FORM NO TREATMENT!
* As we are Located in a Luxury Care Home we have to follow some rules, rapid flow tests are required to gain entry to the building, you will be asked to have a rapid flow test, wait for 20 mins in your car or the garden until your covid test results are negative.
* On Arrival Inform the Receptionist, you will be directed to have a rapid flow test 1st. Do Not Come To The Salon Directly on your own.
Please Arrive Early 20/3o mins before your appointments for the test & results to be done. Rapid flow tests are mandatory as of the venue, please co-operate.
* On Arrival You will be welcomed by a Karismha Team Member without Handshakes or Hugs & Your Covid Test will be taken, whilst we wait for test results your Temperature will be Taken
A Client Disclaimer is required to be filled. If Your Test, Temperature & Forms Are Clear you will be taken for your treatment.
*We are restricting extra time in waiting areas, we also require extra time to disinfect between clients, prepare for the treatments and allow for breaks.
* Please arrive Alone for your appointments, no family, friends or children allowed even to wait in areas.
* Please arrive with no coats, scarfs if possible, no jewellery, please put all belongings your phones etc in your bags
* You will then be asked to throughly wash your hands for 20
seconds & then be treated to your treatments.
Things may feel strange as we all get used to the new normal however it is for the best for us and you to follow hygiene and safety so we are all safe and can provide great services for you all to enjoy.

DID YOU KNOW?* Karismha Salon was already trained in viruses prior to Covid! strict washes, disinfection of tools and sanitises equipment prior and after every treatment to avoid infection!
* How? * All Trolleys, equipment couch, chairs, electrical and other equipment and products are all disinfected using surgical spirit before and after every treatment* All tools (nails clippers, cuticle tools, tweezers, facial microdermabrasion diamond heads, facial brushes, bowls, etc) are washed in antibacterial in hot water then submerged in a barbicide or milton disinfection solution to kill bacteria, germs and viruses for approx 10-20 mins
* Tools are removed with tongs, again washed to remove any germs, that solution is thrown away! Disinfection Tray is throughly washed and new solution added. * Then tools are put into A UV Sterilising Cabinet to prevent any bacteria on them & they are clean and ready for the next client* Clients must have seen BARBICIDE Jar on our Manicure Desk for manicure tools & another BARBICIDE Jar on our Hairdressing Station this is to disinfect hair tools! Again once tools are used Karismha has a strict Hygiene rules and that used tools are not kept back into the barbicide until they they are washed and the above steps are repeated! * Disposables such as Tissues, couch roll, cotton wool, spatulas are used where possible and disposed of immediately* The Foot Bath has a disposable insert for precaution, both pedicure Manicure Bowls are also submerged in Sterilisling solution for 10-20 mins to kill germs!
With Covid now even the chair you sit on will be cleaned with antibacterial spray and wipes and surgical spirit.
I hope as a client you feel relived knowing what we do behind the scenes, to keep you safe from infection. Hence we now need more time in-between appointments for extra cleaning.
